Is mad honey legal in Turkey?
Turkey’s Black Sea region is a known source of grayanotoxin-containing honey, but that origin context does not establish unrestricted domestic sale or export. The reviewed Turkish food-business guidance is general; we have not obtained a product-specific decision for deli bal. Confirm the exact product, business activity and consignment with the relevant Turkish authority.

Read the linked authority guidance for the specific product and delivery method. Seller shipping claims do not establish import clearance.
Business procedures are not product permission
Turkey’s Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry publishes registration and approval procedures for food businesses. Ask the relevant authority which requirements apply to the seller and its actual activity. Those general procedures do not establish that every grayanotoxin-containing honey product may be sold or exported.
Regional origin does not establish protected status or clearance
BfR identifies the Turkish Black Sea region as a known source of grayanotoxin-containing honey. This supplies regional and risk context, not a Turkish regulatory finding. We have not confirmed a protected designation, unrestricted domestic sale or product-specific export permission for deli bal.

Check the outbound and destination requirements separately
Confirm the exact product, origin, business documents and consignment requirements with the relevant Turkish food and customs authorities. Then ask the destination authority about admission by the actual travel, postal or commercial route. This review did not verify an individual exporter’s documents or a complete delivery route.
